In my case hope the repair cost is only a myth I just have one that came off of warranty!

At our house it's 'yes' on the former...'not quite' on the latter (one year + left).

And SPEAKING of the warranty/repair costs & the like...check your PM'S pls! Rather than hijack this thread, I'm PMing a question to yuz!

While it wIll certainly complicate the matter, I am quite skeptical about some manufacturer claims of top speed and the often significant disparity between indicated speed and actual speed. A few observations:

Both of my Lambos were outrageously optomistic regarding the indicated speed vs. the GPS numbers. I'm talking about an indicated 180 that was more like 165. The Ferrari was similar. A friend and I took the Porsche GT3RS out and where the speedo read 175, the GPS indicated 163.

My point is that for every guy out there that claims he as gone X speed in a car based on the speedo, it may very well have been much less than that in acutuality. I am, frankly, skeptical about any model of Lambo acutally achieving an honest 200 on gps. I would like to be proven wrong, since I love the make...

The GT, on the other hand, is a TRUE, everyday, box stock gps verified 200+ car, based on personal experience:wink

There aint no other car like the GT

Point taken Walter.

I've only got one car (the GT) capable of going over 150, much less 200. I've been 155 in it on the track, fast enough for me...

My other cars are a 23 year old 911 and a Mustang GT.
