Spring Problem

I ordered a set of these but found that the thread diameter of the mounting stud on the original bumpers is larger than the thread diameter of the mounting stud for the new springs. Has anyone who has installed these springs previously encountered this?

That's correct you need to use a 6mm nut for attachment

Has anyone with a 2005 installed the clamshell springs from the 06gt and did they help?
 
yes, that is exactly why I stock and sell them.
 
As Torrie shared; yes

I have retrofitted many gals with the late style

The process is painless and requires only the two late style springs rather than the fixed point bump stops and two 6mm flange nuts.

I always use a bit of penetrating oil on the originals as they are a swedge lock nut install and I have had a couple where the shafts is; tight and then once removed the late style simply slide into place and then secured by the 6mm nut on the underside.

OK, I am loosing it!!!!!! I know I have seen these parts on ebay for $38 bucks and change, but now I can't find them!!!! Torrie where can I find them???
