Spoiler: it‘s a prototype to explore the idea, far away from production. And I guess from a cleaning perspective this might be a nightmare. But nevertheless I like it. Great things to come technologywise.
Future thing to look for is generative modeling. In short it’s defining a parts core function and which points should held up to a defined amount of stress. The computer than tries thousands of possible combinations on how the part could look to use as less material as possible. The Looks need to get used to, but to save on weight it’s ideal.
