I always get a kick out of ebay auctions where the bidders are concealed. First I would not bid against my friends on this site, that even includes you, oh great one who is scared to fly.:lol When the bidders are concealed I get the feeling I am bidding against the consignor.

Now, putz, you want to get religious on us and discuss trademark owners, and perhaps having legal tittle to the stuff that was sold. Should I go to the guy who sold us the dash boards with instruments and ask for tittle? I doubt Ford is coming to anyone's home to take back their gas cap, but could the supplier be in cah-ca, yes siree. Chances are these parts went out the back door or in someones lunch pal, I doubt a supplier would be selling off surplus stuff.

As a beer wholesaler, I deal with the issue of our neon signs winding up in peopes recreation rooms, and clearly marked on each sign is a label stating the sign is the property of the brewery. We see them at flea markets all the time, sometimes being sold in cahoots with our salespeople. The breweries expect us to confiscate them, I am loyal, but not stupid, haven't taken one back yet.

Everything my pal GT Joey said about changing the cover is true. I've changed more than a few, and it's a pain.

We didn't remove the fender completely, but we did take most of the screws out, and in retrospect, taking it off completely might have been easier.

If anyone on the forum ends up with this thing, let me know and I'll help out if they decide to install it. At least think twice about installing it without LOTS of masking tape and nerve. :thumbsup

Could be a set up, when Ford and SVT gave their "fleet" of cars, "pre-production and test vehicles" to "DST" it was agreed that DST crush them and not dissassemble them and part them out. When complete dash boards and other pieces started showing up it caused a red flag.

There was one of these on ebay before - dont know if it is the same one but I will guess it is since I was the high bidder and did not meet the reserve and there can be a lot of these floating around.

Think the guy wanted like $500.00 for it. When asked about it, there seemed to be some mystery. Wasn't even sure it was real from the messages (probably was, but I am a skeptic on some of the ebay stuff), but the GREAT ONE says this one is, so ..............

Again, I am not sure if this is the same one, but after emails from the other guy, I wasn't interested. If anyone is interested in this one, email the seller and get some history - see if it is legit before you bid. Makes me wonder when someone wants a ton of money for something like this where you would think they would have it on with maybe a $200.00 reserve.
