those sheets protect the car for about 3 years then you have to remove it. The sheet leaves the paint scratch free and leaves the original stripes intact. So every 3 years you can change the look of your car.

The entire front of mine is wrapped in clear. But yes, I think he means wrap the whole car in one colour, like this Black with Silver Stripes car (you can sort of 'see' the raise of the stripes under the vinyl):

Mine's just regular CLEAR 3M bra tape. I've got a Heritage car.

The matte grey car is Silversurfer's Black with Silver stripes, and it was done for the 2008 Gumball. This pic was on the net from just BEFORE the gumball stickers went on, or after they came off.
