Was out cruzin the GT for about 4 hours in the foothills west of Calgary this afternoon. With 72 degree temps I had to take the afternoon off and get out. Not Dubai temps but for around here I'll take all I can get :banana

Great pics, thanks for sharing 'em. So, there are actually (enforced) speed limits out on the open Dubai roads?
No problem, I'm happy you enjoyed them. :biggrin
Thanks a lot, I'm happy to be part of the "GT brother hood", seems like there is a great group of guys on here. :thumbsup
Came back to your pics again today. :thumbsup:thumbsup My wife and I agree that GT pics in Dubai get the most exotic location award.
I couldn't help but notice the GT brotherhood comment. It got me thinking how unique the GT is to me. I have owned a variety of "fun" cars. But when I drove a Vette I never posted on a Vette forum, same with when I had a Viper, NSX, BMW, etc......it just never occurred to me to do anything but drive the cars. They were fun cars don't get me wrong, but you see them more commonly throughout your day to day life. The GT is not like that....unless you are at a Rally....or Chip's house for the Rally to the Rally. Then the GT is very commonplace. :lol
However everytime I drive the GT it feels like an event. Something to look forward to. Interesting conversations ensue, unique experiences occur and I have never once taken it out and just had an okay time. It is always fantastic. Now I am right around the 6 month mark so maybe this will wear off, but judging by the posts from the long timers here I don't think it will. And having this Forum to share it with other owners adds to the experience. I mean, I actually learned how to post pictures on the web. And I liked it. Show me a post with the heading "lots of pics" and it is the first place I go even though I have one sitting in my garage. And there were times after I first got the car where I thought, "Why the heck am I posting on this Forum so often", or "I can't believe this adds to the enjoyment of the car."
But it does. You and your GT are living an incredible adventure Trent, and I am glad you shared part of it with us. :cheers

enforced? there are speed limits posted and there are stationary cameras positioned in the highways, and will automatically send you a ticket if youre caught speeding, two years ago the speeding ticket cost roughly 35 dollars US. now Im not sure, I will let TRS enlighten us. you dont see to many police cars on the highway.
Very Cool Pictures. I have a car heading there next week. Two days by air amazing. Enjoy your FGT the pictures are killer.
TRS great pics. Thx for posting and enjoy the ride!! It is the best ride so far. ( best colour combo too :biggrin:biggrin)
