The 23rd annual Fabulous Fords Show was yesterday at Knotts Berry Farm in Orange County. About 1000 cars including some drag pintos:) and a few GT's. I brought both my 68' GT500KR convertibles. It was a fun day until about 2pm when I learned of "Jack's" passing at Mojave. Thoughts and prayers to all those there and to his family. Honestly, I have not run at Mojave given the ages of my sons, 9,6,4. I would love to join the 200 mph club but not until I know there are good to go on their own should something ever happen:). Sad day for the GT community.

I like that Old Skool photo.

Thanks for posting those Mike. That '59 Edsel convertible looks just like mine. And that Ford wagon. Thats where I sat when we moved from Mass. to Cal. when I was about 12.

That is great! At least one is still 'alive' and kicking. Thanks!

Mike,
I was checking out your two Shelby's...outstanding!
I had my 70 BOSS 302 there (you can see some of it's roof behind a gold 70 BOSS that's next to the Grabber Blue 70 BOSS 429 picture).
Great day, huh?? I love Knott's each and every year.

Kevin -

Did you run at Pomona on Saturday? If so, any pics?

Is that the original Yellow color on the 68'? Weren't there were fewer than 10 yellow Shelby's that year?

Not many, here's all the yellow car information. 5 made in this configuration, yellow, convertible, black top, 4spd, No A/C. This car use to belong to Patti McGuire, the 1977 Playmate of the Year.
