Pics of billet brackets for Penske shocks:

2 way vs 3 way adjustable shocks

Gulf GT - the photos are of the 2 way adjustable Penskes. I have the 3 way versions. The adjustable portion of the shock is rebound (on end of shock shaft), high speed rebound & low speed rebound (both on reservoir). These are the 3 adjustments. The spring preload is also adjustable (on shock body) & that is what you may be thinking of. I guess then that could be the 4th adjustment (or in your case the 3rd). Thanks for posting the cool pics!

Ed

The bump cans are the same size (actually the same can or shell)
On both the 2 way and 3 way adjustable Penske shocks.
So the billet mount will work on both.

As for the shock in the photo on Gulf GT’s car.

It is a 3-way.

I would like to see the front bump can Mounts as well.
Are you able to quickly make an adjustment on pit lane?

Here's the pics of the front mounts:

You will notice that we used existing mount points on the car. No drilling or alteration of any kind in the front or the back.

Everything on the shock from the body diameter to length of hose is the same on 2way and 3way. A 2way has a single large black knob on-top of the canister, the three way has the ½” nut for high speed and small silver thumb screw for low speed. The picture on the left is the 2-way, and the picture on the right is the 3-way.

I have the 3 way versions. Ed

My wife saw your post and wanted me to ask if your wife knew about the 3-way. As you can see my wife is extremely techincally handicapped...but in a good way.

amazing FGT!

looks Shocking:biggrin

The rear brackets look incredible. We have been using cushion clamps to mount them to one of the rear braces. I hope Jack made a few extra brackets.

Thanks, I wish there was more room to make a bracket for the front like the ones in the rear, but we didn't want to mount to anything but an existing point, so it is very limiting. With that thought in mind, Jack's execution for the fronts was excellent as well. They are located at the edges where they are neatly tucked away and easily accessable in seconds to make an adjustment. These are the nicest mounts for both the front and the rear I have seen to date. Jack told me that he made up a few extras and can make more now that he has the design down. Thanks again Jack & Eddie!

gulf gt. great clean professional work on your car! who did the passenger compartment fire extinguisher mount? does your passenger have any difficulty hitting it with their legs and any difficulty mounting it?

Thank you very much. Safecraft did both the passenger and engine bay extinguishers systems. And, no problem with the passenger and the extinguisher. There is so much leg room they don't even hit it at all. Contact Don Warren at Safecraft. They are a sponsor for the forum.

Gulf, I'm not sure I would want anyone knowing how your passenger mounts that thing.

I don't know for sure... but if I posted pictures of HER mounting it, I might get a lot of lookers!
