So what is a paint correction? Was it orange and you fixed it to red? Did you do a re-paint to fix bad Paint? It looks good.
1. Dry wash (would have been wet wash, but I had just washed it).
2. Clay bar.
3. Speed compound.
4. Correction compound.
5. Finishing polish.
6. Finishing wax.
7. Sealer.
This took two guys all day.
The car has 19k miles and had never been detailed. Parked next to Jim Padilla's 1k mi GT, which had just been detailed, the difference was more than I could stand. I can park next to him now.
*IDK what all these terms mean. They used Meguiers products. All I know is they went over the entire car seven times. This includes taping off the weatherstripping, getting into every nook and cranny, using a xenon light to find paint flaws. They also did the wheels and calipers. And, BTW, if you want to watch what they do, be prepared to see your paint look worse before it looks better. It's a slightly destructive process to the clear coat, so get somebody you can trust.
