So other than our cars, what are your other habits? I do this when I'm not flying the real things. That's my dad with me. He loves to build- I love to fly. It's been great to spend a lot of time with him this way.

Anthony

Whoooeee. Those look like works of art. Hope you are a good pilot. I would hate to explain wrecking one to my Dad! As they say down under, Good onya, to both of you.

Who doesn't... wait I don't want to know. Now that we can all I hope stipulate to that, next for me is golf. Rarely a day goes by that I don't play it or practice it. When a Rally includes a round or two of golf at a nice course where we can lift a few bucks off each other, I'll be there!

This used to be my other obsession before I moved to California (aka the State of Oppression) and sold most of them. And before the prices of ammo went through the roof.

Sig Sauer 556 SWAT

HK45c

Mossberg 590a1, GSG-5

HK45c with threaded barrel/Streamlight. Never did get around to buying a suppressor before I had to sell the barrel:(

Awesome planes! I tried that many years ago, way too much time building and way way to short a time smashing for my limited skill and talent. One of the things I like to do is every year I get a hall pass from the wife and go for a 10 to 14 ride with my buddies. Some years we camp, some years we stay in nice hotels, some years we've ship the bikes to a remote locations to begin the ride and some years we have no plans at all but to get on the bikes and ride........and of course all this while trying not to get beat up by real bikers. Leaving this year on Friday morning.

Gotta make your own. Now it's getting harder and harder to find heads, primers, powder, etc.

I really like flying radio control planes, especially being able to hover (hang almost motionless on the prop), and other things that most people don't see too often.

I just had to ask my wife, who's a retired commercial pilot how that's done and just got the rundown on it. That's really cool!

Golf, and watching my son play college golf. We have traveled to every tournament he has played in college so far and what a blast. Favorite was Yale's tournament at their home course. Absolutely stunning old course. My favorite courses, Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes and Old Head in Ireland. Old Head makes Pebbles ocean views look sort of puny.
Son was awarded "New Comer of the Year" to the Southland Conference last year. Guess you could say "Proud Papa"

Wichita Falls has a nice flying field for radio controlled planes, with a nice asphalt runway and covered pit area, a small grandstand for spectators, open to all flyers and spectators, no charge.

A very pleasant place to hang out, and a dramatic change from the hectic and stressful world of top fuel dragracing. I have spent a lot of time here, often completely just by myself during the week, as opposed to the weekend flyers. Took about five years to get my personal batteries fully recharged, and I have thoroughly enjoyed almost every minute of it. Except crashing really sucks! Fortunately, no crashes except for the rare mechanical failure the last few years.
