So last week I did it....

Ordered a 4.0L Whipple as well.... all in time for Classic Le Mans :thumbsup

It's for real....

The stripes are matt black. In fact I need to replace the clamshell vents (they are painted in glossy black from the factory as my car was quicksilver + stripes).

Regardless, the color is downright RIGHTEOUS! :banana:banana:banana

No the Porsche is an original 1974 (the year of the car) colour... Mexico Blue (exactly like the more recent Riviera Blue used on the 993)
