"And it will go like a duck shot in the ass" :thumbsup

But did this GT end up at the right place?

Some interesting comments...
Like 700 hp, won formula races, and we can’t sell it for two years...
So it will be for sale in two years?

Surprised they delivered it this late to Saskatchewan. Duck hunting season is over because the ponds are frozen now -the high in Regina today is below freezing and snow is on the way. But yes it ended in the right place as there is lots of money south of Regina on the Canadian side of the Williston Basin.

I guess you don't even remotely need to be a car guy to be CEO of Capital Ford. :bored

For the very limited number of dealers that were awarded the car, I think the car had to be awarded to either the person named on the franchise agreement or if it was a publicly traded dealer group, I think it was the CEO or a designee within the group made by the CEO, and the car cannot be sold within 2 years. Most of the dealers that were awarded a car are big enough that the additional money made by flipping the car would be pretty much irrelevant compared to keeping it.

But hey, at least he admitted it.

I wonder if he is really a duck hunter or is he just "winging" it ? If he is a duck hunter, I wonder how many ducks will fit in the luggage compartment. It's really too bad that one of two GT's in Canada was painted in hot rod primer but he will save a lot of money on polish.

So let me get this straight. This guy gets one of the very few GT's staying in Canada, and has no f$%king clue about any details about the car. Where has he been for the past 4 years.....does this guy not even pick up a car magazine or read any car forums????

So I would give away my child to get a new GT ( for the record I have no children) and this guy barely even knows it's a Ford....but he gets one.

I think something is very wrong with how the cars were awarded in Canada.

Yep, that’s good news for someone wanting a NFGT and missed the boat. You will know the history of it.
Also, it’s sale price in two years will be a benchmark for the collector and insurance market. This will be an interesting car to “track.”

I can't wait to see the video of Dr Frank when he receives his NGT. Should be great.

I feel for the Ford Concierge. Not only do they have to train the new owners on the technical and performance aspects of the new GT, but now they have to provide interview talking points to future CEO dealers that were awarded the car. Certainly not that guys best moment.

An extremely limited number of dealers were awarded cars purely on the basis of hitting sales and service metrics.

It will be interesting to see the distribution and make-up of the NFGT's that were not part of the application/allocation program.
