Oz,
My wheels are 3pcs Asanti, they built them for the FGT, send an email to them. Sadly, I don't have the spec, I can tell you they fit like a glove, I am running Penske three ways and the car just wants to run... very neutral...

I think the HRE guy was making a recommendation for tire sizes similar to the stock diameters. Bony's rear tire is about 1" smaller in diameter than stock. It is a personal preference.

Everything I have is an 1" less than standard:rofl:lol:rofl
But it is how you use it that matters,................:cheers:lol:cheers

LOL- nice one. The set on your profile page are definitely more than +1 if you know what I mean, very well fitted to chassis though :rofl

My guy from the distributors beat me to it and provided the comparo with the -1 Michelin sizing as used also on the Heffner car with a link to it as well. He's priced the PS2's and I've told him I'm happy to go with that combo w/ HRE 844Rs.

Sounds like I'm sorted...just going to take around 6 weeks to get them to me. I've calmed down a bit about the aesthetics of the Corsas though since I went for a good drive yesterday. I took some good pics with my D300 also. Man it is good to have grippy rubber on the car finally. It was literally a task to break traction -the car just want to launch every time *awesome* :biggrin

I'm running 275/35ZR19's on the front and 335/30ZR20's and the back. Love the Pilot Sports 2's.

I think this is what I also just ordered for my car. Might have been 265s in the front but the rears are definitely 335/30.

I was on the fence about going with a smaller diameter tire but the TT GT in California ran the 9.9x quarter miles pass on 335/30/20 PS2s. I guess thats good enough for me.

Got my HRE's w/ PS2's!

Well yesterday I had the new wheels and tires fitted. Fortunately, in the morning I had a very heavy driving session with a race driver friend on the existing tires. We both did some very spirited driving, so I had good feel for how the Corsa Systems were working. I put the car in for the new wheels and picked it up later in the day and took it for a quick run. I was expecting the Michelin's to have a significant drop in traction and need some bedding in. Much to my surprise, right out of the box they appeared to exhibit better tractability and certainly better handling attributes than the Corsa's. I have not tested a that higher a speed yet, but I suspect the car will feel better than the Corsa's that were stretched over the front rims and really gave a twitchy, floaty feeling at high speed which I wasn't terribly impressed with.

I have to say I'm extremely glad I went for the new wheel and tire combo, it seems that its much more than just a cosmetic upgrade. I now somewhat regret following the example of John B and getting putting the Pirelli's on the stock rims. I don't even know that I want to go with my idea of keeping the Corsa's aside for just for track use.

I'll post some pics soon as I get a chance.

I just had Potenzas installed for my new Whipple. The improvement is beyond all expectations.
