I’ve been waiting all summer on Continental Y-720 belt for my 05’ GT. It seems these continue to be back ordered. Is the an alternative belt in Motorcraft or otherwise I could search for?

Are these official ford replacements? I'm a bit scared to just put in any belt as a failure of it means a blown engine.

I've installed two over a year ago. Both cars were tracked a few times and driven plenty on the street. They work.

We've been using these belts on all GT's for the last 2-3 years. No problems or issues and as good or better than the OEM belt.

My local Ford dealer couldn’t get the Ford belt last fall, so I ordered the Continental from Kendall (nota4re) and they were happy to install it. I have 5000 miles on it so far.

Thank you for the information. Do you sell them? I'd be interested but i would need the belt sent to switzerland and usually american companies sadly don't do that. And i couldn't find it in switzerland at the moment.

I would call the folks/companies referenced above directly and see if they can help you. If not, heck order/ship one to my house and I'll go to FedEx myself and ship it to you. Feel free to send me a pm if you run into dead ends.
