We have experienced many sending unit failures, so I wouldn't eliminate that entirely, but I will say that 90% of the sending unit failures we have experienced, the oil pressure gauge did show some Sporatic movement. If the gauge did not move at all, most of the time it was the gauge itself.

Does anyone have a pic where they replaced a single gauge with a speedhut gauge? how does it look with the rest of the gauges being OEM...my fuel gauge just went out.

I don't have picture but IMO the match would be poor and very noticable. Given Speedhut's very reasonable pricing I would change the all of them. It is only a matter of time when another OEM gauge goes bad.

I was interested in the same answer to silver1331's question. Thanks ICE.

So there is a significant and noticable appearance difference.

So would the recommendation be to replace all the "small" gauges (temp, oil pressure, volts, boost and fuel) and leave the tach/speedo OE?

Incidently Speedhut has the individual small gauges presently on sale at $161.05 each and the whole seven gauge replacement set at $1179.77 - 1210.37 depending on lighting options.

I just wanted to report that most of you were right. The problem was the guage. It is now fixed and working fine.

One month after changing all the gauges, you'll never know the difference. The anxiety of more gauge failures will disappear and you will be even happier driving your GT.
