The black bags only came with very early cars and were actually recalled or something. Almost impossible to find and never listed as a part to order. Good luck trying to find these.

Yes they were recalled on the early cars and when the new covers were sent to the customers Ford requested the black ones to be sent back. I remember something about when the covers on the cars were rained on that the black die was bleeding out of the material onto the car so this started the recall. As John said the black ones are NLA. Only Grey are sold new currently.

The black bags came with every car and car cover. It was the actual black COVERS that were on the very early cars. I have seen a few.

Shelby I was fortunate, I guess, i purchased my GT with the Black Bag sans car cover. Are any car covers out there that you know of? I know there was a thread out there earlier regarding car covers. I emailed the person who reportedly had info however he did not respond. If you have any info I'd appreciate your help.
