I can’t imagine that Obama’s campaign staffers actually placed the toilets, I would think the porta’ john company does that; I would also think that the city has a fair amount of say in where things like that get placed in their public parks. But to think that whoever did it, did it to intentionally disrespect, or with malice is crazy.
This is a link to the local news coverage. Has a piece with the cop who noticed it and he comes across as a lot more ‘fair and balanced’. Read the article. "A representative with the Obama campaign responded Wednesday morning and said the Porta-Potties were placed at the memorial because of a safety issue for wheelchair access.
Teri Sorenson said there was no disrespect intended and the campaign had not responded because local offices have shut down until Obama becomes the official democratic candidate."
There is a difference of "at the memorial" and on the memorial site. Placing toilets on a memorial site for fallen (insert servant here) site is just wrong. I'm sorry but if someone set up a toilet memorializing the life of one of my loved ones..... well I think I'd be calling my buddy TODD for some help in "removing" them. Think of this as someone placing a toilet next to Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial. Its the same thing.
Please don't try to color this ... it was wrong and it needs to be addressed from the top .... not from a functionary or a volunteer. Personally, I feel that if a leader sees something wrong ... a leader addresses it.
I just don't see any leadership in this cult-obama ....

To begin I would agree Obama had nothing to do with the placement of the toliets. But he is in charge when all is said and done. I think his people could have found better placement choices than on a memorial. I look at it as these are the people he trusts now. What will his staff be like if elected?
As for the web site being onesided IT IS a police web site.

Screw "officials of the Obama Campaign" and their apology letter .... until BHO opens his flippin mouth and says "I am truly sorry for the dishonor my team showed the police officers of Portland and I apologize to their families." It ain't an apology..... its more "not me" or "those people".
Obama needs to wash out his headgear and get rid of 20 years of "the man" sermons ala REV. (and it makes me ill to use that title) Wright and wake up. Now that he's the DP's guy those men and women standing around him need to realize that he respects them. At the end of the day ... when someone takes a shot at him .. they likely will be the ones taking the bullet.
Before someone goes off the deep end on the last comment .... let's be real here. He's a target of so many whacko groups now .... its almost wise to start a pool on when the first crack pot is going to take a shot at him. Do I wish that NO I do not and I will be thankful if it does not happen but realistically .... I will be amazed if it does not.

Nancy Pelosi & John Kerry exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government.
Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal judges that Bill Clinton appointed from a list of single-parent welfare recipients.
The ant loses the case.

I'm not comfortable with someone who spent 20 years sitting in a Church where the leader screams "God Damn America!" and tells people the U.S Government invented AIDS to kill the black man being President.
