Translation:

-Both will claim 3x overtime for this work
-Both will claim disability (emotional & physical) for this work
-Both will file invasion of privacy lawsuits, via their union rep
-Both will receive paid vacation; early full retirement based on inflated last yr work, free passes to public golf courses, under some obscure stagecoach law
-Both will have City lawyers spend years defending this as "right of way, sanitation violation"
-SUV (which is city owned, our dime) will be now totalled, and sold to above for $1.

100% of the stuck ambulances / fire trucks on YouTube have NO SNOW CHAINS. there were numerous deaths including newborns waiting 9 hours.... Negligence proof for the lawsuits.

I saw this video earlier today and assumed, as Kayvan has, that the barely functioning cretins who caused this damage, would receive minimal discipline and that the car owner would probably be tied up fighting his corner for years.

No shortage of stupid people, they surround us!

"Send a supervisor"????????! How about sending an INSURANCE ADJUSTER and a rental SUV?

Both the tow driver AND the front loader operator ought to be FIRED on the spot for gross negligence and criminal stupidity.

Let's HOPE the guy who recorded this makes/made the vid available to the SUV's owner.

'Disgusting...

In the description they said it was a city-owned SUV

What "description"? A news broadcast later, or what?

(Incidently, Fox News just showed a brief clip of this w/o comment during a "snow" news story.)

I guess the city worker wanted a new ride to, what the heck, kill two birds with one stone.

In a snow storm 3 years ago, I had my car parked on a street in Brooklyn, NY..............a sanitation truck did something like that video to my car.........a supervisor came and gave me some forms to fill out, with all the info............after 2 years of trying to get paid from the City of NY.............they decided to pay me 25% of the damages............when I asked why.....the answer was.......something like.......The City is self insured...and that's what we feel the damages are worth.........if you're not happy take it to the courts.............Obviously i declined...it would of cost me much more to take it to the courts........and they play on that for most people............Just a bunch of BULL....................

The only time they pay, and pay BIG is slips & falls; were the damage is undeniable and the cause is concrete, steel, or poor design.

Its in the billions; if a budding young lawyer wants to set up shop, with a target with deep pockets with along history of losing & paying.
