At that speed you could have coasted right behind him and put it into 2nd gear and let it rip for maximum affect. With a stock motor and Bridgestones the tires should grip as long as you rev match before you let out the clutch and are smooth on the throttle.

I did that to Piana (in a convert Vette) when I wanted to hear my FRPP cat deletes into a X pipe. He smiled and said his ears were ringing when I did a 90MPH pass in 2nd.
