Now Soroush it is/was one thing for me to ship you care packages full of wire sheathing, Deustch connectors, etc. and yet it was up to you to create an integrated system; you did a wonderful job

I am proud of the way you approached the project and even more so that you stayed focused on both the quality of integration and the mechanical results.

I see another Shadowman being created behind the scenes

All the best

Very nice... two question though.

1. Isn't the N2O bottle gonna' get a little warm there? (maybe warm enough to pop the safety valve on a full bottle)

2. What kind of exhaust pipe is that one?

mardyn

on my last outing with the bottle in the car and after extensive driving the pressure never got above 1200 psi, although this is high, the pressure valve I believe is set for 2500 psi, so there should be no worries there.

the exhaust is JBA headers and accufab x pipe

Is there a pressure regulator on the NO2, or can the flow vary with bottle temperatures, such that it may lean out your mixture?

well, the purge will help reduce the pressure some when activated, but we dyno tuned the car on full bottle at its highest pressure, and even then took out 6 degrees of timing and kept the air fuel to 10 to 1 to be on the safe side.
still made 825 letting off at 6400 rpm, wonder what if would make with a 150 shot?:eek

Soroush is too sano

Wow, too cool Soroush. I thought it was dialed in & completed at the Rally but these photos are unreal. I also like your sanitary methods such as surgical scrubs & gloves!

That is awesome work and even more impressive for a DIYer.

Keep it up.

Totally SWEET installation! Nice work!

I used to run Nitrous on one of my '66 GT 350's, and then later on my '85 ASC McLaren Capri roadster. It's really a lot of fun!

I'm quite impressed with your system approach - looks completely integrated into the car. VERY nice! :willy

Excellent job!

Any chance I could find out where you got the momentary buttons your using for the purge and activation?

I need a button for my shifter and that would be perfect!

Thanks,
Ken

bump :) sorry dave couldnt help mysef

here is the newest addition to the system in lue of the upcoming texas mile where I will be trying to best Mr mullets 226 this coming sunday. I will be doing this without any turbos I might add:biggrin

we were struck with all sort of problems last time out and the best I could manage was 221.3 with sticky unreliable solenoid that were not performing like they should. well all of that has been remedied and the new set up now consists of a NANO system, it is a highly pressurized bottle of nitrogen that is connected to the nitrous bottle and will maintain the bottle pressure constant everytime the nitrous is activated. this means as the nitrous bottle is being depleted the pressure remains and "punch" stays the same as the first time the nitrous is deploid. this was a problem in the past as the nos was being used up the bottle pressure would go down and the nos was not being delivered with the same intensity, well no longer will that be the case.

Looks good Soroush. Only a few days left till the mile. Lets see which one of you will walk away with the top mile per hour. This should be good.

lol, Captain Quiet. ;)

My eye is on Torrie (and everyone's favorite Interior Decorator). If either tops my current speed or if I top my own and they beat that I'll definately be one of the first to cheer and shake their hand (right after I turn my boost up a little and try to top them.....lol).

Captain Quiet? Hell, I am just trying to get in the game with the rest of you. All of you are professionals at this and I am just beginning. You never know what is just around the corner or maybe what is just in your rear view mirror. Don't slow down, we still have 72 hrs to make magic.......

With all his winnings, he'll be able to buy what he needs after the races.
