A few days ago, I'm in the GT at a light on Siesta Key. Guy pulls up and yells "Nice car! Do you know Ron Savenor from Boston?"

Out of 300 million people, and 1,500 miles from Boston, this guy expects me to know Ron Savenor?

Well, I do. So I say "Maybe. Does he owe you money?" He says "He's a good friend of mine." Yelled his name, but I don't remember it. Something Armenian. Like Iskenderian.

This popped up as a Facebook memory. Four years ago today in Sarasota.

The same thing happened to me at the Atlanta airport last year. I was wearing my Ford GT forum shirt and this guy asked me if I had one of these cars. I said yes and he asked, do you know Ron Savenor? Has Ron replaced Camilo as the face of the GT?:rofl
