After studying previous posts, I have decided not to add a cage. The FGT appears to be strong enough for my purposes.

Actually it's my wife that's putting her foot down. She doesn't want me to track it without a cage. I just hate to drill holes in the frame, and although I would definitely be installing the best padding available, I am more concerned about the 99% of street driving without a helmet. So, then I'm back to drilling holes and R&R'ing the cage when going to the track.
