At least one Heritage....bring whatever you like! Onlookers are gonna think silver is the most common color! lol
 
Big thanks to Sanjay for pursueding me to do this weekend's Shriner Hospital 'ride and drive' at the Houston Classy Chassis show. Although I didn't drive much yesterday, I must have given 25-30 rides today; so much fun on that tight autocross course. One highlight was giving a ride to a rather hot young girl who, after we finished, said " that was the best ride of the whole weekend, freaking awesome - so much better than the Ferraris". I then found out her Mom is Secretary of the Ferrari Owners Club, so I tracked Mom down and got the daughter to repeat what she'd said! goofiest moment was when a nine year old boy climbed in, shook my hand and said " my name's Henry..........and I'm in a Ford!" priceless. See y'all next weekend, and I have some goodies to hand out.
 
These two members were priceless today at the Classy Chasis Show at Reliant Stadium Houston, Texas giving autocross rides for Shriner Burn Hosp. charity. These guys were really driving seriously on a short course. Talk of the show for a great cause. Way to Go guys DoctorV8 & Texasmongrel they make this GT Forum GREAT. DoctorV8 had 3-4 cars at the event. WOW

No Mini Cooper? Heck it is my new favorite other car! See ya'll tomorrow. Got to go home and clean on the GT. Probably only like 110 degrees in my garage now. OUCH!

I've shopped MB Houston North and Greenway for the wife's ML.

I wasn't impressed with North, they didn't seem to be terribly interested in selling a car (it was 2007 and times were good so I guess they thought a dismissive look and MSRP less $1-2k was good enough). I cut a fair deal with with Greenway (never even mentioning I had looked at North), 2 weeks later the North salesman called me to ask why he wasn't given another opportunity (I guess he was able to see what was sold at Greenway).

Overall:
North - Not happy about that call after the sale, didn't seem to want to work something out until after I bought elsewhere
Greenway - Neutral, nothing remarkable with my experience

I didn't shop Sugarland or Alex Rodriguez, others may be able to comment.

Mercedes Greenway is who I use for service.

I did not have a good experience with either the Houston North or Sugar Land service departments. No issues with Greenway. You may also consider Star Motor Cars although no personal experience with them.

Are you looking to buy or have service performed? If its service, is the car under warranty? I have 4 different MB products and can get you personalized service in any of the above arenas. And not at Greenway. ;-)

Like I said elsewhere, sorry I couldn't make it but Horseless Carriage Transporters called saying the were going to deliver a toy Saturday right at the same time. Look like a great turnout.
