Hello everyone, finally pulled the trigger on a lightly modded 2006 car after being on the fence for more than 3 years. :eek
It has whipple (3.4L I think, how do you guys tell?), penske coilovers, cooltech transaxle cooler, FRPP exhaust and a set of 20" HRE with PS2 shoes.
Also glad it came with every take-off stock parts including the wheels and tires.
Took delivery on Tuesday and have been busy driving (already put 300 mi :eek) and learning.
So far I'm very impressed with it. Took her out to my favorite canyon road in OC and she felt great.
Still gotta lot to learn but I love it being simple and straightforward. Also have none of the non-sense stuff they have on modern sports cars.
Last 6 speed I drove was a few years back and I thought I was done with manual trans but oh boy, am I glad to row gears again. :biggrin
Albeit the whipple, it passed CA smog without any issues with help of a fellow forum member referring me to the right place.
He even offered moral support by coming to the smog place. Again, big thanks Sam :thumbsup
I'm a sucker for big powered cars but I think I want to enjoy the SC set up for a while until I have an urge for TT.
Like many of us, I have mod bugs and I've been ordering parts even before I bought the car. :lol
Here is a list of what I've ordered so far...
* Exoticare 3rd Gen Keys
* Exoticare hot buttons
* A set of Bridgestones (255/40-18; 345/35-19) for stock wheels
* Redesigned wiper set from a forum member
* Kipewing double DIN audio
* and some billet parts
Also, planning on getting the car dyno tune and bumper delete kit from Kendall.
Only have some crappy iphone pictures of her next to my friend's 458.
I will update the thread with new pictures once she goes through full detail next week.
