Shelby & all the guys who have welcomed me to the group:
I see that the Rally is the second week in October and my wife and I will be in Paris at the end of September for vacation and to attend the Press Days of the Paris Auto Show. We fly back on the 9th or 10th of October, with a layover of a few days in NYC. Then I'll have to go on a diet so I can fit in my GT!

Attached is a photo from one of our lunches a couple of months ago. Three of the GTs have popular exhaust, pulley, tune mods, my Tungsten is stock. The "bookends" are a real Cobra with Webers and a Ferrari 599. Get back to me and I'll put you and your friend into our database.

I have all your info except for email contact info so I can send you a lunch notice and put you in database. The NJ group is listed on the COMMUNITY page of our website, www.sarasotacaferacers.com, they have monthly meetings and are very serious car guys. My last home in NJ was in North Bergen County, Harrington Park (around Alpine, Closter, etc.).

I have a friend who was from Chatham and he and I are part of the Team 608 Bonneville Racing Team. This year we are going to Speed Week with a two-car team (315-mph A/Gas Lakester and an E/gas 200-plus mph '32 Highboy Roadster). It's a 100% volunteer operation and we race for records and to raise money for and awareness of charities. This year it's Juvenile Diabetes. I'll post pix of cars later.
