New York Techs for GT

Can anyone recommend GT technicians in the New York area? I am looking at purchasing a 2005 GT and I wanted to know if there might be any recomendations for handling oil changes and other maintenance requirements. All suggestions are appreciated.

I just go to the local Ford dealer. They have a tech that’s certified to work on the car, and they have handled all the routine maintenance for me (oil changes, Takata air bag recall, fluids, etc.). In addition, they schedule the car and get it in and out, usually on the same day, and cordon off the car so no one gets close to it. Not sure where you are in the NY area, but I’d be surprised if you can’t find a local guy for basic maintenance.

I live on Long Island NY and have access to Nassau and Suffolk counties. Also thanks Ken for your response and kind of figured a Ford dealer would be best and I'm guessing finding a high end dealership that is more familiar with this car as opposed to a Focus.

I'm in Westchester.
Scarsdale Ford has been great for me for warrenty work.
Otherwise, Tator garage and RRC Automotive has experience with these cars.

Lucas Ford In southold or Riverhead Ford both have had MANY Ford GT's I can give you their numbers.
You can go to autosport but know the mechanics at both dealers.

If your air bag was never done, we did 20 of them at his shop.
When we drove the GT around the world almost we started from his dealer floor.

I had a leaking Fuel Rail and a Dealer asked me to take my car and leave. I convinced him that it was dangerous and they kept it and fixed it. When I picked it up they asked me not to come back!
