New Wheels on my GT

I have a friend that lives in the Philippines. I went to visit him once. He took us to play golf at Puerto Azule where a monkey stole my golf ball off the fairway and three umbrella girls followed me around to make sure I did not get too much sun.

We had some great dinners and went to some fun bars.

I am looking forward to going back someday. It was just a very long trip.:cheers

Hi Cmoody, hope the chimp didn't disappoint you too much, but we have great golf courses here, and hospitable people. drop me an e-mail if you'll be here.

The GT was the only one without a front license plate. :thumbsup:thumbsup

very impressed, but the pipes look a bit lean or is it my mind playig tricks?

Thanks Mike, actually I am running w/ VP C116 fuel thats why the exhaust pipes looks lean. Right now the car has only pulley, Ford racing longtube headers w/ accufab X pipe and a little modification on stock airbox. I have a performance shop here w/ Dynojet Dyno. the car now doing 640 whp. Thanks!

It sounds like you are enjoying her.

A bit of trivia just in case you are not aware; VP C116 is a great fuel however it is also very corrosive and during normal operation; particulalry when she is cold it is migrated into the oil as such you need to change it VERY often or ……. sad things happen.

Furthermore based on her level of performance it is likely for more than your gal is appreciating.

I am happy for you and enjoyed the pictures; BTW the wheels look great on her; thank you for sharing.

Takes care

Magandang umaga D one, what kind of mod did you make to the airbox?

Salamat po.

Hi Bony, the owner of San Miguel has 3 Heritage GTs, one stock, one w/ whipple by Hennesy & the other twin turbo by Hennesy. Sweeet !

3 Heritages out of the country to a single owner - making the remaining ones here more scarce.

I sold him the 2 Heritage cars that are whippled and twin turbo'd! :thumbsup

Magandang hapon there Aloha GT, Filipino? we've cut out the bottom part of the airbox to facilitate more air flow. Cause the air ducts from our clam shell doesn't provide enough flow the engine needs one of the reason why the rubber hose linking the throttle body and airbox collapse at high rpm. My engineer at the shop told me ' its better to have hot air than no air' which now works really well.

Hi Shelbyelite, so your the man, Ramon is a good friend, when he first saw my GT, you can see the must have expression on him. first he plan to get two but because he wants to keep a low profile in public he began to have doubts. So I suggested 2 cars of the same color then people won't think he has 2gts guess what? He got 3. Haha!

Nice pictures D. The wheels looks good.

Thanks DBK!

Aloha D one! Many hundreds of my dear employees are Filipino and I've picked up a maliit along the way.

Cutting out the bottom of the airbox sounds intriquing. It makes sense to me but I don't know anything. :confused

What do you guys think?

You're slipping there, Shelby - only 2 out of 3! :wink

Incidentally, I gather there's been a meaningful pick up in out of country sales. Several hundred percent increase?

Had no clue that there where so many FGT's in Manila. Heard about a high speed run in a FGT, did you post that video?:thumbsup

Ford Gt is the ultimate. I did once stayed at 225mph for about 40secs. Here's the video of it.

You must have some great long strait roads without any cars with redlights on the top. 225 for 40 sec is about 2.5 miles not counting the road you used to get up to 225 mph.

Hi BlackICE, It was I think one of those once in a lifetime thing where everything just fell into place, right place right time. Its a new highway to former US naval base, just soft opened and was a holiday about 6am, no police & radar yet. Best road we have in the country now. :banana
