Went to dealer today to have the transaxle fix done. Also had them check the high beam indicator problem. It turns out that when I changed my gage panel over to carbon fiber, I must have stressed one of the solder conections on the warning light module. They were able to re-solder the connection and everything is fine. Just a couple of hours of labor. It is a good thing. You cannot order just the warning light module. You have to order the entire gage panel and all the gages -- cost is $2,600. Be careful, people.
On another note, I was able to see the new transaxle washer compared to the first Ford transaxle fix washer. The new one must be at least 2 times, and maybe 2.5 times thicker than the old one. It even looks thicker than the Accufab washer I still have at home.
