New owner with Ford GT Heritage Edition in the UK

@Viper. i was only teasing It's allways funny when Uk cars drive buy on the highway Brussels-Oostende. It's like sitting next to one another. Lots don't seem to bother with the speed limit. isn't belgium passing on speeding tickets?
It mustn't be easy driving such a low left hand car in the UK through traffic. I used to have a right hand drive cobra and had it converted quickly to a left hand drive.

Yeah, I must admit to mis-judging the width of the car sometimes when passing other traffic. Occasionally I'l look down the passenger side and realise I was closer than I realised.

As you know these cars are a fair bit wider up back and sitting behind the wheel looking down the narrowing bonnet gives a false reading and I forget how wide the arches kick out.

I have a few LHD cars but this one always gets me for that reason.

Indeed. He's still selling it and telling me it's a Hennessey .... I keep on telling him it's a earlier Heffner kit. The car's been hit on the left front side but no idea how bad it was. I was wondering if somebody knows this car.

As I recall - the GT1000 was built up by Shelbyelite - - I think.

The 1000 hp car Clive Sutton has is quite definitely a very early Hennesey kit without the supercharger - we installed it for the customer back in 2008.
Hennesey didn't supply it with fitting instructions so we had a number of phone calls with them to check things as we went through the install.

Lee - no it has lived in London all of it's life. It went back to Clive Sutton today - it does look particularly mean in black, no stripe with black wheels. It's very low mileage it would be nice to see it used a bit more.
