I bought my car from Shelby as well. He is a good guy.

Be careful, theTT Ford GT is probably faster to 200 mph than the Bugatti Veyron, but as with all GTs, you are on your own, ie, no active suspension or traction control.

Even stock, it takes getting used to and is not as easy to drive as an all wheel drive 911 Turbo.

GT in Russia

Hello, Alex: Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on purchasing Shelby's white car. I was at Heffner's during the "build" and can testify that all workmanship was of the highest caliber. I, too, purchased my black FGT from Shelby (notice avitar) and I am delighted with the end result!
Yes. Helms has the manuals. I recommend that you buy every one for the Ford GT that Helms offers for engine, drive train, wiring, etc. These are excellent and fairly simple to understand if one has patience and proper tools. Do invest in the protective Blue Tape painters in the U.S. use. Helps avoid scratches when removing/installing parts. Also purchase resin compound and high-gloss black paint for repair of your rear "diffusers" which will inevitably get dinged on bumps or transporter ramps.
A question for you: If a group of Forum members decided to visit Russia, in your local area, would you be available for recommendations on private collections (cars, art, furniture, sculpture) as well as restaurant, lodging and places to visit? Have always wanted to stay in a "Dacha" and have lots of caviar and champagne in the fridge!
Please send pictures of your "new" car in front of the Kremlin and especially in front of KGB headquarters!

No biggie. Shelby's selling so many FGTs he losing track. :wink
