Thx SilverBullitt! Since you had a huge hand in getting me & GetBit in contact with each other. Now I know your screen name :) Will be nice to meet up for some events - keep me in the loop!

Now how about posting a couple of those photos of your car and this one you were talking about?

I've had my GT for over 5 years and I still sit and study it from time to time. Welcome to the Forum.

Welcome! I hope you enjoy your car as much as I do! This is a dream of a lifetime for me, and I sit with it every night in my heated garage and big screen TV.

2x4's - They are to extract my 2004 Lotus Esprit (Final Edition) – the pinnacle of the 27 year run. A 3.5L V8 twin turbo go-kart. …you stock GT’s better watch out. That car is the definition of power to weight ratio! It’s like a mini-GT, with bad teeth :biggrin

Tim? Yes I know Tim. He runs TWS 6-7 seconds faster than I do.

Male ego preservation:
Tim is set up at low track height, has full exhaust system & Mopar ECU. Lots of camber, Hoosiers, etc. etc. I’m running a stock car at stock street height - Otherwise I’d kick his…..

Back to reality:
Tim is a bas a$$ driver and deserves all credit due – watch his YouTube videos. He’s very smooth and precise. I have a long way to go.

PS:
ACR will be at ART for a AR headers & Corsa (no-cat) back system w/ACR-X ECU 580+ RWHP - pre-paid, awaiting parts.

I stray out to the Houston Cars & Coffee from time to time. Need to make it up to Dallas for the same. I was born in Ft Worth so NTX is home……sort of :ack Just a boy from Lipan [Lie-Pan] (look that up on the map) - redneck gone wild!

I definately will suscribe - tomorrow once I sober up and can read my credit card.... I wanted to get a feel for the forum before I shelled out.

Here are a couple of photos of the car mentioned above (the Limey version of the GT)

You sure like the grey color! Congrats on the new GT.

It's stealthy - hard to see/follow. More like there are so few of those cars the color is secondary. I had the choice between that one and green.

My GT couldn't have gone to a better home...I think it will be happy parked next the the Vanquish S as well as the ACR and Lotus.
For now, I will have to remain satisfied with the visitation rights Eddie has set for me but plan to be back in the GT ownership circle soon enough.

Eddie is a great guy and an active enthusiast...I'm sure he will be a great GT owner.
