Hi everyone,

I've read several Hundred threads over the past couple of weeks here, and just wanted to say with each post it reaffirms my love and lust for the FGT. A little background on me:
Ever since i was 12 I've had a job doing lawn care or something to have cash to spend. once i turned 15 i got a job as a science apprentice with the govt and did things that most 15 year old's dream about. i held that job during the summers until i was 18, and while in school (16yrs +) i worked as a pharmacy tech/ stocker/ bagger/ cashier until i was 19 when i got married to the perfect woman. I stayed on working at publix until i found a job i couldn't refuse. i got back on the job with the gov't as an inventory specialist. I did all this while going to college to further my career so i could one day sit behind the wheel of the F-car Killer. I've been moving up through the company now... while still going to school, serving in the USMC, working Full time, taking care of a baby, and striving for success so that one day i will be able to afford the car of my dreams.

My auto BG
i have been into cars since i was ~15 and saw a maroon 1969 boss 429 with 3200 miles at a car show.
I have carried the mustang badge on me ever since that day. I own a 2003 Mach 1 Oxford White and a 1967 mustang coupe that i resto-modded from a I6 into a 302, and is in progress of yet another transformation to a 2.3l turbo motor from the SVO with a c4 and a 2800-3200stall and some extra goodies.

Well there's my soap, i look forward to learning and meeting some of you in the future.
Rebel

Welcome, I think you will find that most of us here are a little obsessive about our our Gt's and cars generally.
The people on this forum really are a great bunch and I think you will enjoy the experience!:thumbsup

Heaven can wait.

Rebel,

Semper Fi. I hope you succeed in joining the ranks of Ford GT custodians soon. On paper, the FGT looks pretty good. When you push the red button, the FGT sounds even better. When you drive it, the FGT takes things to a whole new level. And best of all, when you assemble at a FGT National Rally with fellow owners and enter a freeway along with a dozen other FGTs all screaming their furious V-8 music and the back end of your GT jumps sideways a foot at your 1-2 shift before sending the entire supercharged motorcade into hyperspace, it makes a man wonder what heaven has to offer, that's better than this moment.

All the best.

Chip, it is only a matter of time until i finish My CRNA degree. The hard part is done...I show my wife a picture of a black stripe delete and a tungsten FGT....and she is forcing me, much to my reluctance, to purchase one of those colors. :banana:banana

yes it does :cheers

I was looking at f430's and/or a 360 CS, but then i realized who upset i would be when i said i want more power...and the only thing in order is a 90k supercharger kit:eek

So i was like hrmmm....i need something cheap to gain big from can kill a lambo, hang with a Z06...and looks like a rolling Orgasm. That was what i told my wife, then she pointed to a stripe delete GT and said "it's not cheap, it can kill you, and it will definitely give you chubby":thumbsup:banana

the gt is readily modifiable, and you can make a lot of power(whipple charger) while spending less money compared to other cars in its class. then when youre ready to step it up a notch you can spray a 100 shot:biggrin then youll be the second guy crazy enough to spray his gt.:biggrin

I wouldn't mind throwing a 50 shot to spool twin 88s or a single 103 ....if there is room.

...add a Gallardo to those & you're describing me as well - before it was announced that the FGT was actually going to be built. But, when THAT was announced - game over! :biggrin
