Hi there ladies and gents, just like many of you, I have drooled over the Ford GT since it first came out. It has been the quintessential dream car for me for many years. Well, after a long hunt for a no stripe car, my dream came true as my 2006 black stripe delete just arrived. 6k miles on her and she's going to get driven and modified. You may have attended/heard of my company Shift-S3ctor that hosts half-mile events in a few states, as I've met a handful of you at them. Anywho, onto the pics. Next week it's off to get detailed and PPF installed as well as some exterior items, then it will head to Cooltech for some maintenance and mods!

Congrats !

When gassing up; you might want to hold that nozzle by hand; half trigger and don’t top up.

That cap-less filler neck is better off without weight of nozzle or backwash from trigger at full blast.

Again, plenty folks fill/lock trigger no problem. But, some have had to replace filler neck, remove fender/wheel well, can’t fill tank and fumes on overfill.

Enjoy 😊

Is that an actual side stripe delete car (vs peeled off)?

Mac or no mac? Curious if pained calipers are the only option?

Black no top, stripe here as well. Like the look.

Correct, side stripe delete (have window sticker). Mac and Calipers were only options. Thanks!

Congrats! I bought my trans cooler from Kendel.....ask him about the merits of installing one. Great add-on if you are adding mods.

Congratulations! Can't be many like it with the standard wheels. I prefer those wheels personally. Black with no stripes and red calipers look 💯

Congratulations & well done! Enjoy and go easy on the loud pedal for a minute especially with the Goodyear's. Bridgestone's are a must on the mod list. IMO

Cool! That’s the same options as my Midnight Blue Stripe Delete. 😎

Few more tips....

If doing early am drives or below 55 temp might want to wait till Tires warm up

The new owner Tech FAQs are helpful

Helps with funky “noises”: Trans rattle-snake, neutral gear roll-over; 2nd gear cold grind, shift tunnel cable resonance

make sure you have “full owners kit”
-OEM Ford charger
-cover w/duffle
-Conti Tire inflater
-Leather owners manual
-spare shifter ball as paper weight

All still available from ford parts

ps, your license plate screws should be 4 black matte T27 captive washer Torx; avail from Ford

#4G7Z16163AA

black Matte frame would be nice too
