This is actually a real 1969 Orange Black striped Z28 with modern mods, it is just unreal in person. It's been in 3 national magazines, won numerous awards and more importantly drives and sounds amazing.

Here are some of the things it has:

CROSS RAM DUAL 4 BARREL CARBS
SMALL BLOCK WITH ALLOY HEADS
ROLLER CAR AND STROKER ENGINE ASSEMBLY
6 SPEED TRANSMISSION
4 WHEELS DISC BRAKES
CUSTOM TUBULAR SUSPENSION
CUSTOM BILLET 20 INCH WHEELS
12 BOLT POSITRACTON REAR END

Enjoy!

The pictures do not do the paint job justice...

Is the 302 still in there, or is there something else under the cross ram?

Thanks for all the comments guys!

It's a 383 stroker. The only pain is that if you really want to get on it, you better have race gas or you risk pinging the motor. It's a radical engine.

OKay, I know nunna this really matters when push comes to shove, but, I'm a (former?) Chevy guy & 'have built 1 or 2 of these, so I'm curious! :lol (SORRY :shrug)

Steel crank? 4 bolt mains? 350 block? Or did they prep a "400" & go the other way? 12 Bolt rear, or 9"? Rear gears?

Regardless - that's one darn SWEET ride!!!!!:banana:banana:banana

You have one of the nicest 69 Z/28 I have ever seen ........If ever I had the chance to buy one, it would have to be a double to yours.........That is one of the sweetest rides I have seen in a while....
Congrats, and many pleasurable driving days with it.....

Really sweet machine. :thumbsup
I have the same wheels on my 70 Boss 302, even painted the sandard grey centers black like yours...gives the Trans Am musclecars a great look, in my humble opinion. :biggrin

I'm not typically a fan of 60's American muscle cars, but in this case I have to make an exception. That is a thing of beauty.
But forget the photos. Send the audio track. That's gotta be da' bomb.

Very cool.

Have you ever considered going EFI? You could even probably even keep the crossram look if you like, with a big 70-80mm throttle body replacing each carb, and a Big Stuff 3 computer running the show. That would complement the high tech suspension nicely.
