Here's a few pics of the new boots on the beast. It's all about the shoes says my G/F...and we all know she's right.

ADV1.10's Concave mat black 345/30/20 rear's & 275/35/19 front's on the new Michelin Pilot Super Sport's. This is the 3rd set of ADV1's I've purchased from Jon@ Wheels Boutique -

Have spoken to Jordan from ADV1 as well several times -- service and quality at both of these guys can't be beat. I've had nothing but great experiences with both ADV1 and Wheels Boutique. I absolutely love these new wheels and the whole new look it brings to the GT. Black is the new chrome!! :rofl

Thanks to both of you guys for a perfect acquisition, and thanks to my awesome honey for making me decide to go with the white/blue GT and these insane wheels! The ride may be hot, but she's way hotter!

Next is the installation of Alex's adjustable perches to bring her down a bit!

Only done 35 miles with the new boots, but ride firmness is really unchanged, which I expected, just because the GY run flats are harsh to start with...and with the decreased height on the sidewalls and softer tires...one kind of makes up for the other. It was the same when I did my Z06 and replaced the same crappy GY run scrap tires with Nitto's and went up 1" all around on wheel size. I haven't pushed the tires for grip,as they're still new and need some more mileage to burn off that slick top layer, but I'm sure they'll have somewhat more stick, although I won't be tracking the car.

The GY's weren't run flats. Were they? I don't think so. But Michelin's have a habit of not only being awesome performing tires, they're awesome comfortable too. If I didn't already get aftermarket wheels in 18/19, I'd sure be looking at those. I love my MPSC on my Turbo, so I'm really curious to hear how you like these MPSS's. I think that's what I'm leaning toward for the Turbo when the current tires are shot (won't be long now - lol).

I assumed they were run flats, but never checked. In any case, the Michelins are softer. Probably sticker too, as I will eventually find out and report back here! I've been using Michelin Pilot Power dual compound bike tires for years and wouldn't buy anything else for my ZX14 Ninja. I push that bike hard in the twisties and have never been let down.

How about posting her full frontal with headlights on??? I meant the front of car with new those meaty new tires of course. Are there much more room in the front wheel wells with the 275 meats?
