Mitchell, you are a good man and your car is absolutely gorgeous. One of my neighbors woke me up this morning with that ever so intoxicating 458 exhaust note. I genuinely hope your rims issue gets resolved sooner than later.

Thanks for the nice words. I was surprised at how different it is to drive. I have a few cars that are stick, none are paddles. The days of pressing the clutch, releasing the gas, and shifting are fading sadly. In this car, you are not even supposed to let up on the gas while shifting. The carbon brakes have such a different feel too. Maybe I'm still an analog guy in a digital world.
Had the wheels done in black shortly before VIR along with some other performance goodies. The wheels are such a great look.
Of course, the performance enhancements mean I now drive the car at 2/10ths of its capability instead of 4/10ths. See you soon !

I think you're going to have a huge amount of fun in that car - congratulations! Just remember to keep your eyes on the road ahead and not on all those dials........ I had a little while driving the 458 and was impressed, it's a rocket. A rocket that handles.
Would be great to see you. How about you bring the TT Lambo and I the 458 and meet you half way!

Shipper was NTT Transport. More on this later. Unfortunately, my generous request for them to quickly and painlessly settle claim at what would have even been less than replacement cost were largely ignored. Several weeks and hours of my time have gone by and I'm now dealing with their insurer. Considering their transport driver forged paperwork, I would have expected them to have cooperated a bit more. Sad. Will post some details on what I've learned from this shipping experience shortly as this will likely help others.

So I've never driven a Ferrari, or taken a ride on one.
Nonetheless, I just signed up for a three day jaunt in Italy next June.....driving the F cars, on the streets and at the testing track, as well as a behind the scenes excursion at the factory and such. I'll need to make sure I get a new Ford GT hat and shirts ready to wear in the land of the Ferrari!
