I'm pulling the center console and I have no manuals. So far I removed the side pieces, the eight screws and now I'm not sure what to do? It looks like I need to remove the screws that hold the speaker assembly and or the bezel around the radio?

Thanks for any pointers!

Yes need to remove the speaker assembly.

Use a lot of blue tape. Pop out the hand brake bezel and set the handle in the on position. Lift up the rear end and you may have to wiggle it side to side to clear the hydralic line on the right side. Before you lift it too high you have to disconnect the a/c control module wiring from the console. Use an inspection mirror to see the connector latch.

You guys love that Blue tape..I went out and bought a big new roll of it and as I was taking the screws out I realized I didn't put any of it on...UG

PM or call me and I will assist

You need to remove the speaker and amp as a unit, the ebrake bezel, and then raise the ebrake all the way, and then with a small block of wood raise the rear of the console and place it under it so you can reach under and unplug the A/C controls (single plug) and then lift it up further at the rear and slide it back and then the entire unit up at the same time.

As shared plenty of tape around the radio, starter button, etc.
