DVD Updates
I started burning DVDs today. I have good news, and bad news. What do you want to read first?
Ok, the good news. :thumbsup
These are really great DVDs. About 4 hours of GT on 2 DVDs !! Videos and pictures you won't find anywhere else. I even managed to put myself in a few of the pictures. (how did that happen?) I get recharged every time I watch these DVDs.
Now the bad news. :frown
On a PC, the videos look great. On My 19" flat screen monitor, everything looks perfect. On a 20" SD flat screen TV, with a cheap DVD player, video quality starts to degrade. On a 42" HD TV, with a good home entertainment system, Quality is better, but still not as good as on the PC. I found the closest to the PC was a 26" CRT TV, with a quality DVD player. The picture DVD seems not to suffer the same loss of quality.
I hesitate to continue at this point, as I'm not sure how they will play on LARGE TVs. (anyone want to buy 500,000 blank DVDs with cases?)
I'd rather not even put them out, as it would bother me to have someone say that I was selling junk. My reputation on this form means much more than the $279,076.03 I'd make on them.
Need input here.
