I've been working like a mad man for 4 days and nights on the DVD's . My wife won't speak to me, my dog bites me, and I'm starting to smell a mite ripe. (we don't need no stinkin Depends !! GET OUT)

Looks like I'll need to put everything on 2 disks, as the little "extra' item I'm including hogged a bunch of room. I Hope to have the final test burn done tomorrow. Then I'll need to do labels and jacket covers. If everything goes right, and my plastic doesn't melt at Staples, I'll start burning copies the first part of the week.

Silver ole buddy, if you don't feel these are worth it, I'll refund the $896.37 plus tax, shipping, handling, service charge, use tax, and plain old rip you off tax.

Really tho, You WILL love them!

Rich :thumbsup:thumbsup

Rich, that is such a deal. I'm almost at a loss for words that you would extend such pricing courtesies to your FGT brethren. :eek

Spirit My friend,
You'll never see that one coming. I'm just like your cell phone provider. All those little unexplained charges that you were never told about when you signed that life time commitment.

And it's not called a tax. It's an anti rip off service charge. :eek

DVD Updates

I started burning DVDs today. I have good news, and bad news. What do you want to read first?

Ok, the good news. :thumbsup

These are really great DVDs. About 4 hours of GT on 2 DVDs !! Videos and pictures you won't find anywhere else. I even managed to put myself in a few of the pictures. (how did that happen?) I get recharged every time I watch these DVDs.

Now the bad news. :frown

On a PC, the videos look great. On My 19" flat screen monitor, everything looks perfect. On a 20" SD flat screen TV, with a cheap DVD player, video quality starts to degrade. On a 42" HD TV, with a good home entertainment system, Quality is better, but still not as good as on the PC. I found the closest to the PC was a 26" CRT TV, with a quality DVD player. The picture DVD seems not to suffer the same loss of quality.

I hesitate to continue at this point, as I'm not sure how they will play on LARGE TVs. (anyone want to buy 500,000 blank DVDs with cases?)

I'd rather not even put them out, as it would bother me to have someone say that I was selling junk. My reputation on this form means much more than the $279,076.03 I'd make on them.

Need input here.

Video quality certainly doesn't bother me. I'd happily contribute for a copy.
Thanks for your hard work.

Rich I am still in. I started this post and would like to buy a copy of what you put together. I sure it has great footage and photos. Like you said there are photos that you won't find anywhere. I would still like a copy.
Thanks for all of the work that you have put into this project.
Thanks
