My Wife's new GT

Well I posted a couple of pic's of the new car the day we received it while all couped up in the garage as it was raining. So I am posting some I took yesterday since it was such a beautiful day as I wanted to show it off a little

Well she hasn't driven yet but will soon I hope as she is still a little nervous about it. And she doesn't like driving with me in a car with her as "I can't imagine why" but says I'm always trying to tell her how to drive !! I spoke to Rich the other day and looking like will be after first of the year before we see the Quicksilver back. Oh and Shelby thanks for all your concern !!

Congrats Steve. Fair warning though. The cops around here stay on high alert for a red GT. Somebody around here with a red one (cough, cough) keeps them stirred up so watch out.

I had to buy a yellow one and tint the windows til the heat dies down.:lol

I must say I love every color in their own way. latley everytime I am next to a red one I fall in love with it and feel thats the real original. Congrats to your wife for having such a cool hubby. I personally lateley have fallen in love with the Red with no stripe or white with stripe delete. One of these days when my wife is looking the other way I will be calling Shelby to hook up my second FGT. Enjoy

Congrats on the GT and the pics look great.

Regarding the thought of being inspired by a particular color, I had a white GT and sold it. I was really partial to replacing it with one of the lovely Blue/White stripe cars. However, one fateful day I was out at Miller Motorsports Park at an event, and in the parking lot was a red GT. It was perfectly detailed and looked like it had just rolled out of Wixom. From that day on, I was a devotee to red cars, and bought one a few months later. It's funny that I never really liked red cars in photos and would not have chosen one over the blue had I not see one in person. Still think the blue and black cars look best in photos (see Freddy's pic at the bottom of his posts, mmm mmm good). However, slinking through traffic those red cars sure look special...
