Very nice! When I was in high school, I wanted an '87-'88 Turbo Coupe in the worst way. They were 5 years old at that time, so fairly cheap, but my dad said "no way" when I took him with for a test drive and made the mistake of accelerating a bit too hard. Love your eclectic collection. True "car guy".

Gonna have Jeff do an EFI conversion on it. Tired of it not running well/carb needing maintenance with the ported heads/cam setup off my old Mark V.

interesting to see how one of those setup behave on an older big block. I have a hard time starting the Mark III if it sits more than a few days but once it gets going it starts right away ever time you shut it off.

Yeah, toss some gasoline on the fire of the V-6 haters..... Yamaha to boot....

Great car, a family member had one new, then on to the v-8 after. The gen one was much more fun with 3 pedals. Ironically the Contour came after the SHO's. I drove them all a good amount.

I do like those, but I need a mint '89-90 SHO first!
