My Ford GT on the dyno...

just updated the thread with the dyno graph..... 527 rwhp stock and 637 rwhp after the pulley and tune... no other mods.... stock exhaust and air filters....
Had our friend fly us out to pickup the GT today, clear skies cruising at 170 MPH got us there in 1 hour... 
They ride home was a bit longer at 3 hours, just as fun... Still getting used to the car and power delivery, after the pickup it would spin 1st and 2nd at just 50% throttle, after the tires and car were warm, it only spins from 5k rpm to redline in 1st, and can hold the power in 2nd and on.... very happy with this, I didn't want a spin city car, especially after driving my GT-R and Gallardo TT which put down the power perfectly...
The dealer had just put on brand new OEM rear tires, I might sell these and go with the Bridgestones all around to have something with more grip....

Art138, I love my Heffner exhaust. For me the stock exhaust is a bit too quiet. Heffner's is loud at WOT, but not too loud for normal driving. Transformed the car for me. I am only familiar with the Heffener, but I've read many other threads of people very happy with other after market exhaust as well. Including some liking the stock exhaust. Different strokes for different folks as they say.
careful you dont break your fuel filler nozzle leaving the gas hose just hanging like that. I use a plastic funnel now, having recently replaced mine. I've also got the heffner tune and am very very happy. fwiw i picked up 16 rwhp switching between 91 and 93.

Just wondering what increase in HP would an exhaust upgrade like Heffners give on a car like yours?

Man, that's a huge number. 637 from just the pulley and tune? You got one of the strong ones. Mine did 592 with the same combo. Crazy.
