My GF was reluctant to post for the Aston Martin ad - but I bought her those new shoes and she was fine with it.....

I'm amazed at how much tha Aston Martin babe's left leg up to the cheek resembles the leg lamp up to the shade. Just sayin.

That's Ken Miles in the blue GT ad, circa 1965. Note the car has no driver's side mirror. I wonder what # GT that is?

And then back in the 70's we had in Phoenix as well as southern CA, Cal Worthington and his dog spot

We also had Tex Earnhardt who drove around his lot in a golf cart with a tiger that was always swishing its tail dangerously close to the cart's rear wheels.

We don't get commercials like that any more.
