The men driving performance at Ford! Shows how important the GT is both at Ford and in the industry.

Love the last line on Raj's. :lol No pressure!

Indeed. I think it's awesome to see recognition they are all getting in the form of innovation and high end performance. Great news and congrats to them.

Dave Pericak reminds me of a young John Coletti.

A bit like the wine industry - pick the grape, ferment, age and hope that you made all the right decisions. Perhaps the only difference is, with wine, it's a year/year opportunity. If you haven't done one in 50 years, the pressure for a winner is probably of epic proportion...

Then again, that's different from 1966 - how? ;-))

I spoke with Raj at the Ford holiday party Thursday night and he specifically mentioned the pressure around the GT's performance at Le Mans, but not in a "we're feeling huge pressure" as much as "we know it a lot of people would love to see a win but we're realistic about this being our first year in the game, at least for this team and this car." He didn't use those exact words but that was the sentiment.

I told Raj I'll be thrilled just to see the GT out there competing. A win is icing but the cake is going to taste good no matter what.

I understand Bill Ford gave Raj the same 3x5 card that HF2 handed out to the Ford GT team back in the 60's. Paraphrasing for the internet audience - 'We will win, and that is your performance review.' :wink
