Monterey Car Week | Pebble Beach Concours

Curious who, if any of you, will be attending Monterey Car Week this year? And if so, will you be driving or having our GT's transported?

I plan on being there from Wednesday AM - Monday AM. And I will have my GT with a new "look" and new Carbon Fiber parts.

Camilo is planning on making some appearances that week as well, along with his Heritage.

I'm going to be there starting next Saturday, but will be hanging at Pebble Beach Lodge and teeing it up with my wife as we celebrate number 30. We'll be there through Friday Aug. 13. Driving up in our 2007 GT500, as the GT just is too tight with two sets of golf clubs.
I will keep my eye out for your wrapped GT with CF goodies!

Kevin, too bad you're not waiting a week! I'm playing golf there with a friend on Saturday the 14th, but will try to watch some of the Historic Races (or whatever they are called now) at Laguna Seca that Friday.

MJ, we will be at the track on Friday, the 13th also. My cell is 310 916 1636. A buddy of mine runs a Trans Am BOSS 302 Bud Moore car, I think their first practice session is 10:30 in the morning. Let's make sure we get together on Friday.

Your buddy has great taste in cars! :banana For various reasons we are flying into San Jose rather than Monterey. The flight gets in around 11 AM, so we would not get to Laguna Seca until ~2 PM. Does your buddy race early in the day or later in the afternoon? The guy I am taking golfing has absolutely no interest in cars, but I'm pretty sure I can talk him into going. I'll get in touch with you either way on Friday.

Guys - I'm not sure if I'm going to the Historics on Friday or Saturday yet? I will be staying in Carmel and probably getting some driving in to and from many events.

PM me if you want to meet up for a drink and I'll send you my cell phone.

Otherwise...keep an eye out for an ORANGE GT with Carbon Fiber bits and flat black accents and BBS's.

I'll be there Friday around 3pm but am going to the track only on Saturday. Saturday evening I'll be bumming around the auctions. I'm not taking the GT.

That's alright. I have some very fond memories of driving a GT up and down the PCH between Monterey and Malibu. One of the most beautiful scenic roads I've been on!! Although not in a GT, I'm still looking forward to driving the 17 mile strip as well.
