During the mid 70's, John Greenwood was successfully racing and winning in the Trans Am Championship, flaunting a Star Spangled liveried wide body Corvette. While the Oil Embargo was hitting the industry it's hardest, John was keeping sports car excess in the eye of the public with the Greenwood GT, a street version of his wide-body race car. Some love it, others aren't so keen. In any case, it is unique, and quite rare!

In the early '70s I worked at a grocery store at Square Lake and Telegraph. On Sunday morning's I would look forward to John Greenwood coming in with one of monsters. His bad boys were representing Detroit iron quite well at Sebring and LeMans. We would run to the end of the parking lot just to listen to him take off and lay down some rubber. He never dissapointed. :thumbsup
John DeLorean would show up Sunday morning's as well..typically with one of the GM display/show cars.....and a hot honey in tow. :eek

A friend of mine lived by John, right there on Sylvan Lake, and didn't have quite the same experience you did

(I have a lot more done then what is online.... so picking a car that is in one of the garage shots would work with just a couple exceptions - I haven't done the 2000 Cobra R yet for example)

A few days ago, my DSLR Canon 20D SN: 1020623462 was stolen from my car, parked at my house.
I will be making a web photoshoot update per day [until] I can buy a replacement camera. It's not just photos of this car collection I cover, but many events, from the Concours shows, Auto shows, FOC club events, Autozone meets on Woodward, shoots with enthusiasts, and their cars, etc. etc.
I am asking for donations for whatever you feel enjoying these photos have been worth to you. In return, donator's will the first to receive notification of updates to www.nthimage.com, and the future sister site www.TheAbsoluteGarage.com.
Images can also be purchased through email, and also using the paypal button on the webpage. Photos can easily be sent in the mail after being printed to your desired dimensions.

Is that a '72? That green metal-flake is sweet!
My father had an Ontario Orange w/Gold Murano Pearlescent custom '72. It had chrome Hooker headers and side pipes.
Unfortunately it was lost when the storage facility in Hamtramack went up in flames several years back. I think about 100 other cars went with it.
That bad boy was fast....and I knew where the spare keys were. :devil

I think its a '70... and if you can believe it, this one is a 20k mile survivor, and with the exception of a few spots of touch up paint, it is the original paint job!
there are a few blemishes on both the paint, and on the body, but I see no reason to restore it since it looks this good
It doesn't sound quite as good as the '65 396 Vettes... I think it has a milder cam... but it does sound good.
sorry to hear about the storage facility.... not just losing a car close to you, but 100 going down in flames would be a totally gutting experience

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING COLLECTION!!! Issac thank you so much for sharing the pictures!!! The shots of the Bugatti getting delivered were just awesome!!! Any updates on your Reventon? Can't wait till the pics get posted of that car!!! :banana BTW, are there any other cars that your thinking of getting on the horizon? I didn't see an MC12 Maserati anywhere? That would be a SICK CAR to get!!! That an the CLK-DTM coupe maybe! :cheers

Arrived Friday, Took a few photos at the dealer, then later Saturday, went back to do some night shots
And then it made it's maiden voyage to the show, and back. I'm sure there are more then a few photos of it cruising Woodward Sunday evening
