With such close racing, I'm wondrous about the lag in acceleration caused by the turbos when coming out of each yellow flag period. Just a layman's observation....

Maybe its not the turbos. What about the delay in traction control, maybe its affecting the engine too much since isn't the traction controlled through the engine management? Or maybe the gearing wasn't the best to keep them in the peak power band during the slower speed restart and traffic?
