C8 deliveries are the hottest thing on the Internet right now, so hot that people have stopped buying Supras. So it's probably safe to say that the mid-engine Chevy Corvette was an excellent idea.

Based on the (now greater - see Biden, Sanders ) pressure for "zero carbon" ( whatever that is ) , I see no appetite for Ford or GM to try and do something like this. Unless it is way far along in the pipeline, which I doubt, I see such a project being DOA.

Besides, it's ugly!

This clearly wouldn't apply to the M/E Mustang vs. the NFGT, but, I don't see how the M/E Camaro could be built for less money than the new M/E 'Vette.
So, from a marketing standpoint, why bother?

One would think, if there were any additional info to be had, FoMoCo itself would have it.
