I dont really know if he did or did not do the things he was accused of. Many people prey on celebrities to exploit them for money. Maybe it was the case, maybe it wasnt. I can say that I do feel sorry for him. He has been exploited since he was a little kid and in my opinion it is near impossible to live a normal, mental healthy life when raised in that setting. He did bring some great music to the world and I am greatful for that. A legend has died. Regardless of his past, its a sad day with his and Farra's passing.

I have mixed feelings too. But you gotta admit its sad to see him die like this and he was an icon. Also Farrah wow!!! What a day. I wish it was Ahmadinejad instead? :)

Not a fan here.....but instead of despising him I felt a bit sorry for the way he wound up. I doubt I could have made it through the circus he grew up in at the age he was thrown in it. Had some talent and was exploited beyond what I could ever imagine doing to someone, let alone my own family.

Found this on youtube

Transformers.

Gentlemen,

He was certainly a strange duck. It often seems to be the case that an individual with an amazing level of talent in some area is also cursed with an amazing level of weird in some other area. Even more disturbing to me than Michael's overnight slumber parties where he shared his bed with young boys, is the reckless disregard shown by the parents of those young boys who willingly allowed this to happen. What's the deal with that?!?!

As a performer however, he was amazing. Weird as he was, when he performed on stage, I was a fan. A trailblazing singer, songwriter, performer who took his unprecedented combination of dance and vocals in a whole new direction. Even before the young boy thing however, he was always kind of liked a Vespa motor scooter. You might find them most entertaining, but you still wouldn't want to admit that to your friends.

I was saddened by his death today. I always hope that guys like him and Mike Tyson ultimately get their act together and wind up living successful and fulfilling lives.

Michael Jackson never got there. What a country America, 'eh. The only place in the world where a poor young black man can grow up to be a rich white woman. Rest in peace Michael Jackson.

One played with Majors, the others with minors. I'm sure there's a song in there somewhere.

I agree, sad... RIP

My brother is a pilot for AA. He was flying MJ from one coast to the other a few years back. He told me he had no concept of geography and had no clue where he was or where he was headed. No education for the child stars I guess.

I'll wager we're going to find out an Elvis Presley-like perscription drug/doctor thing is somehow involved here.

When was that reported? ('Hafta admit I haven't been keeping up on any of this.)
