Guys, I received a call today from Lachelle, She will be the coordinator of things at Limerock.
If we can list on this page how many people will be there on Saturday, she can set up a meet and greet either at noon or before at the race trucks.
The more people the sooner she will make it.
I thanked her and thank Rocketman for keeping me in mind for Friday, just too much at home going on.....
So, if anyone wants to meet the drivers at the trucks Saturday morning, just post here.....

Going to try and be there, depends when I get back from China.

Will be there for as much of the Continental Race as possible.

Hopefully, no bridges or cranes will fall on us.

I think the big race starts about 3, so plenty of time for activity of some kind between noon and 3.

Going to stay somewhere around Hartford Saturday night, and then head for the Cape on Sunday. If anyone has thoughts for dinner Saturday, we're in.

Weather sounds good, but HOT. Bring plenty of water and sun screen.

Separately,any further recommendations on parking? As I understand it, there isn't a corral for the FGT, so I could (gasp!) drive the 911 turbo up and park in the Porsche corral, or if we can get our cars together / in a secure spot, happy to bring the FGT!

Ken , No car corral officially, remember Porsche and the rest have been making this trip for decades. Maybe Howard can call his 911 friends and see if we can park with them, if not I park anywhere.
It was nice of Lachelle to put this together and we know they have ALOT on their plate.
So bring what you like I'm happy just to be apart of the day.................

I don't have much juice with the Porsche Corral people, but I'll try to get Ford GT parking if they'll let me (unlikely). I've taken my GT to this event in the past. Exotic cars get preferred parking along side of the infield access road (check out the Lime Rock maps; don't go to outfield parking), instead of in the general infield parking lot. The car was admired and undisturbed. Wherever you park it is going to be dusty.....and hot.
