I still in trouble with my McIntosh Stereo...
Without answer for the ISO/Ford GT stereo adapter,I stupidly tried to connect the GT wires directly to the ISO system (+12,-12,+12mem)... Nothing happens, but when I tried to connect the McIntosh system back if found out that the wire dont have any 12V + and 12vmem anymore...

Is there a fuse or do you think I burned the McIntosh amplifier??:confused

The system has as I recall a 5 amp fuse in the SJB area which is behind the passenger footwell panel

The stock amp is not that great. I would keep all the original wiring intact, and just ADD new wiring for a new system. This way it can return to stock without any issues, and you will get better sound quality using other components. If you have the factory sub, it would be worth getting it relocated to behind the passenger seat.
